Dr. Abigail Farrow joins the Blue Heron Consulting team as a Social Media Strategist for the Ascend Student Program. Dr. Farrow grew up in Alabama and later earned a Bachelors of Science in Biology at Florida Southern College. Her journey toward veterinary medicine led her to Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. During veterinary school, Dr. Farrow also began investing in her other interests, leading her to earn a Master’s of Public Health from the University of Minnesota.
Throughout her education, Dr. Farrow has worked to engage in many different areas of study, such as business, marketing, event planning, and programing. This includes a position on the National Board of the Veterinary Business Management Association, an internship in Convention and Meeting Planning at the AVMA, and a role as a Student Ambassador for Royal Canin. All of these experiences have helped strengthen her ability to think creatively, communicate effectively, and fulfill her passion of connecting with other people in business and life to help enrich the experiences of others.
Dr. Farrow resides and practices in Tampa, FL with her Italian Greyhound, Figment, and her cat, Luxo. In her free time, you can find Dr. Farrow out for a run. Fun fact: She is pursuing the ’50 before 50’ challenge, where she will be running a marathon in all 50 states before turning 50. She is currently at twelve!
