Cyndi Valerio has always known a love for animals. Her journey began as a Pre-Vet student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and, after years on the pre-vet track, she started working in an animal hospital as a Veterinary Assistant. Soon after, she realized her passion and set her sights on becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician. In 1998, she joined Hallett Veterinary Hospital as a Certified Veterinary Technician and quickly progressed to the Inventory Manager.
After spending years working with an amazing veterinarian, his mentorship led Cyndi to realize her strong leadership skills and great management potential. Cyndi was sent to the Purdue Veterinary Management Institute and, soon after, became a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager.
In addition to a CVT and CVPM, Cyndi is proud to be part owner of Hallett Veterinary Hospital where they believe in improving the lives of pets, their families, staff, and the communities they live in through advocacy, compassionate care and education.
In 2022, Cyndi joined the Blue Heron Consulting team as an Operational Coach. After her own personal experience with BHC in 2016, she has grown to love and respect the entire team and their commitment to improving the lives of veterinary professionals.
Faith and family are the two most important things in Cyndi’s life. Camping with her husband, two daughters, parents, and four sisters and their husbands – along with all her nieces and nephews – is her absolute favorite past time.
