2. OUR GROWTH
Lange Hospital, an independently-owned hospital, has had an established presence in the community as a refuge for reliable vet care since 1949. The genuine care we provide has resulted in us being voted Best Vet of Texoma 5 YEARS IN A ROW from 2017 – 2021! To support our growing caseload, we will be moving into our brand new 11,000sq ft hospital within the next year to continue to provide quality and efficient care in a city that doesn’t stop growing! Our new facility will include 8 exam rooms, a surgery suite with 2 surgery tables, a dental suite with 2 wet tables, DR radiography and ultrasonography, brand new state-of-the-art equipment, and luxury boarding for cats and dogs. LIFE IN SHERMAN
Sherman is the optimal location if you want to live in a small town but have quick access to big city amenities and the outdoors. Our town is only a 30-minute drive to the outskirts of Dallas, and close to Lake Texoma, Ouachita National Forest, Ozark National Forest, and many other parks. Our cost of living is great and opportunities to enjoy life outside of work abound.
SALARY & BENEFITS
- $85,000-$110,000K pro-sal compensation paid on 20% production with NO negative accrual
- $2,000 CE allowance: Up to 5 days/year
- $200 annual uniform allowance
- 2 week PTO per year (not including CE days)
- Lunch break as a team from 1:30-2:30pm with office closed
- Monthly stipend for individual medical, optical, and/or dental insurance of up to $750/mo
- SIMPLE IRA company sponsored matching plan – up to 3% matching from each paycheck
- No emergency or after-hours calls
- Flexible schedule
- Dues/Association Fees: State licensing and DEA licensing, professional liability insurance, worker’s compensation; AVMA and TVMA dues and 1 subscription of choice
- Sign on/Relocation allowance – One time $5,000 bonus/allowance
- Student loan repayment/stipend
- Veterinary care and product discounts, pet care allowance $1,000/year
