Equine Veterinarian
Fredonia Veterinary Clinic is an independently owned, and well-established mixed animal practice seeking an Equine Veterinarian to join our collaborative and supportive multi-doctor team. You can expect to step into a robust caseload of loyal clients and diverse equine patients, including pleasure, show, and work horses located throughout Ozaukee, Washington, Sheboygan, and Fond du Lac Counties.
Our equine service line includes:
- Preventive care and wellness programs
- Dentistry
- Reproductive work
- Lameness evaluations
- Prepurchase exams
- Routine surgery
- Diagnostic testing
- Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy (VSMT)
- Laser therapy
- After-hours emergencies
You may choose to work exclusively with equine patients or incorporate a combination of equine, small animal, and/or small ruminant medicine into your role. Our on-site facility includes two stalls and a stock area to accommodate haul-in patients. We are equipped with power floats, digital x-ray, ultrasound, surgical and therapeutic lasers, in-house lab equipment, and the ProStride autologous protein solution system. Compensation & Benefits
- $100,000–$150,000 base salary, with 28.5% production on services and 5% on inventory (no negative accrual)
- $20,000 sign-on and relocation assistance
- Medical & dental insurance
- 3 weeks PTO + 6 paid holidays
- Rotating on-call with a competitive bonus structure
- Simple IRA with 3% employer match
- $2,000 CE allowance + 4 CE days
- Ambulatory truck provided
- Flexible schedule with rotating Saturdays
