Originally from Las Vegas, NV, Carissa Welsh earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Utah State University. With over ten years of administrative experience in veterinary and human medicine, she brings a wealth of expertise to the team.
Carissa shares a deep love for animals and veterinary care with her husband, Peter, a Veterinarian who specializes in small animal surgery. Together, they have two younger boys and two hairy dogs! On their days together as a family you can find them doing anything that involves them being active. Whether they are mountain biking, trail running, hiking, or at one of Carissa’s group fitness classes she teaches outside of her time with BHC, the Welsh family is always on the move!
