What to Expect

Attendees should plan on arriving in Jackson Hole, WY no later than Sunday, July 5th. Jackson Hole does have a major airport and is by far the most convenient option. Other options include Salt Lake City, UT (about a six-hour drive) and Bozeman, MT (about five hours away). There will be an optional dinner that evening.

We’ll leave Jackson Hole for the trailhead early Monday morning, July 6th. Carpool arrangements to follow.

Monday we’ll spend about half the day on the trail winding through mountain meadows, along meandering streams and enjoying majestic views of the Tetons. Camp will be set-up prior to our arrival and will feature canvas wall tents complete with padded cots and a bonfire pit for evening refreshments. Tuesday and Wednesday will be spent enjoying customized, action-oriented management CE with free time to fish, horseback ride or just relax by the creek with a good book. An experienced trail cook will chef up breakfast and dinner each day and pack a sack lunch for any day spent on the trail.

Thursday, July 9th we’ll load up and ride back out to the trailhead. The trip will culminate with a dinner in Jackson Hole that evening and attendees are free to fly out at their leisure on Friday, July 10th.

Who Should Attend:

Don’t let the beautiful scenery, great horses, scrumptious meals and plethora of free-time activities mislead you, this experience will equip attendees with knowledge, skills and tips to return to their hospitals and make immediate improvements to culture and profitability. Whether you’re a recent practice owner wanting to start your career off on the right foot, or an experienced practice owner searching for new pearls of wisdom, we’ll have you covered.

Cost:

$2300/person includes stock, tack, meals, lodging, CE and everything you need on the trail for four days minus personal gear and a sleeping bag. Transportation to/from Jackson Hole and lodging in Jackson Hole not covered. $1000 deposit required, final payment due by 5/15/20.
